The company is also slated to announce its third-quarter earnings numbers on January 18, Wipro said in a regulatory filing on Monday.
“Meeting of the Board of Directors will be held over January 17-18, to consider the condensed audited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter ended December 31 and declaration of interim dividend, if any, for the financial year 2018-19. Please be informed that the Board of Directors will also consider a proposal for issue of bonus shares at the aforesaid meeting,” the filing said.
Wipro’s peer Infosys, India’s second largest IT firm, on Friday had reported a 29.62 per cent drop in consolidated net profit at Rs 3,610 crore for December quarter.
Tata Consultancy Services on the other hand reported a 24.1 per cent rise in YoY profit at Rs 8,105 crore for the December quarter last week.
