Share market update: Nifty Pharma index soars 6%; Cipla surges 10%

NEW DELHI: Nifty Pharma index was trading higher with all components in the green zone in Monday's afternoon session.

Shares of Divis Laboratories (up 13.09 per cent), Cipla (up 10.44 per cent), Lupin (up 6.84 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma (up 4.9 per cent) and Cadila Healthcare (up 4.48 per cent) were among the top gainers.

The Nifty Pharma index was trading 5.9 per cent up at 12001.7 around 12:10PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 110.45 points at 11324.5, while the BSE Sensex was up 335.29 points at 38375.86.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 39 were trading in the green, while 11 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, BEL, BHEL and Tata Motors were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
