    Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 43.5 points, or 0.27 per cent higher at 16,142.50, signaling that Dalal Street was headed for a positive start on Wednesday. Here are a dozen stocks which may buzz the most in today's trade:

    Coal India, BPCL, IndiGo: Coal India, Bharat Petroleum Corporation, InterGlobe Aviation, Apollo Hospitals, Torrent Pharma, Max Healthcare, NHPC, Power Finance Corporation, Bata India, Whirlpool of India, Fortis Healthcare, AIA Engineering, National Aluminum and SJVN are among the companies which will announce their March quarter earnings today.

    Sugar stocks: The government imposed restrictions on sugar exports from June 1, a move aimed at increasing availability of the commodity in the domestic market and curbing price rise. "Export of sugar (raw, refined and white sugar) is placed under restricted category from June 1, 2022 onwards," the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) said.

    Grasim Industries: The Aditya Birla Group firm reported a 55.56 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit at Rs 4,070.46 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2022. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 2,616.64 crore during the January-March quarter of 2020-21.

    Dr Reddy's Laboratories: The drug maker said it along with Senores Pharmaceuticals, Inc has launched Ketorolac Tromethamine tablets, used for managing severe pain, in the US market. The product is a therapeutic generic equivalent of the reference listed drug Toradol tablets.

    Bayer CropScience: The global pharma and chemicals major reported a more than twofold jump in profit to Rs 152.7 crore for the quarter ended on March 31, 2022, compared to the same period of the previous financial year. The company's profit stood at Rs 61.9 crore during the corresponding period of 2020-21.

    Muthoot Finance: The gold loan lender said it will raise up to Rs 300 crore through a public issue of bonds. Announcing its 27th series of public issue of secured redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) of face value Rs 1,000 each, it said the issue comprises base issue size of Rs 75 crore with an option to retain oversubscription up to Rs 225 crore.

    GMR Infrastructure: DVI Fund Mauritius offloaded shares of the airport service provider for Rs 624.38 crore through an open market transaction by selling 17.03 crore shares of the company at an average price of Rs 36.35 apiece.

    Metropolis Healthcare: The diagnostic chain said its consolidated net profit has declined by 34 per cent to Rs 40 crore for the fourth quarter ended March. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 61 crore in the January-March period of previous fiscal.

    Ipca Laboratories: The pharmaceuticals firm reported a 19 per cent decline in consolidated net profit after tax at Rs 130.23 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 2022, impacted by higher expenses. The company had posted a consolidated net profit after tax of Rs 161.34 crore in the same quarter previous fiscal.

    Dollar Industries: The leading hosiery company said it expects to become a Rs 2000 crore company by 2024-25 and will invest Rs 120 crore by the same year to double its spinning capacity.

    Bank of India: The state-run lender reported a 142.31 per cent rise in standalone profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 606 crore in the quarter ended March 2022 on higher net interest income (NII) and improvement in asset quality. This compares with a PAT of Rs 250 crore in the same period of the preceding fiscal.

    Indian Hotels Company: The Tata group hospitality firm said its board has approved the re-appointment of Puneet Chhatwal as Managing Director and CEO for another term of five years. Chhatwal was appointed on the company's board on November 6, 2017.

    Aster DM Healthcare: The hospital chain said its consolidated net profit surged over two-fold to Rs 246 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2022. The healthcare provider had reported a net profit of Rs 117 crore in the January-March period of 2020-21 fiscal.

    JM Financial: The financial services provider reported a marginal decline in its consolidated net profit at Rs 229 crore for the quarter ended March 2022. It had posted a net profit of Rs 233 crore in the same period a year ago and Rs 261 crore in the preceding quarter ended December 2021.

    Minda Industries: The auto components major reported a 5 per cent decline in consolidated profit after tax at Rs 156 crore in the fourth quarter ended March. The company had posted a consolidated Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 164 crore in the same period of previous fiscal.

    Redington India: The supplier of Apple products in India has reported standalone profit for the quarter ending March 31, 2022 at Rs 123.46 crore. The Chennai headquartered supply chain solutions provider had clocked standalone net profits at Rs 115.47 crore in corresponding quarter previous year.

    LatentView Analytics: The pure-play data analytics company reported standalone profit for the quarter ending March 31, 2022 at Rs 290.45 million, the company said on Tuesday. The Chennai-based company had registered standalone profit at Rs 203.17 million during the corresponding quarter previous year.

    Data Patterns (India):
    The defence and aerospace electronics solutions provider clocked profit after tax for the quarter ending March 31, 2022 at Rs 61.62 crore. The city-based company had registered profit after tax at Rs 65.96 crore during corresponding quarter previous year.

    Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys: The metal player reported a 118 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 142.58 crore for the quarter ended March 2022. The company had posted consolidated net profit of Rs 65.40 crore in the year-ago period.

    Balrampur Chini Mills:
    The Sugar firm reported a 2 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit at Rs 240.48 crore for the quarter ended March. Its net profit stood at Rs 235.50 crore in the year-ago period.

    NIIT: The skills and talent development company reported a 45 per cent jump in its consolidated profit after tax to Rs 67.4 crore for the quarter ended in March 2022. The company had posted a profit after tax of Rs 46.5 crore in the same period a year ago.

    Zee Media Corporation: The media firm reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 51.45 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2022. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 10.50 crore during the January-March quarter of the previous fiscal.

    Titagarh Wagons: The wagon manufacturer said it has bagged an order worth over Rs 7,800 crore from Indian Railways for supply of 24,177 wagons. The order is required to be executed over a period of 39 months.

    RITES: The railway consultancy firm posted an almost flat profit of Rs 142.36 crore for the quarter ended March 2022. The company had posted consolidated profit of Rs 141.55 crore in the year-ago period.

    Pricol: The automotive technology company clocked standalone profit after tax for the quarter ending March 31, 2022 at Rs 16.78 crore. The Tamil Nadu based company had registered standalone profit after tax at Rs 2.91 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year.

    Shree Renuka Sugars: The Wilmar group firm reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 156.3 crore for the quarter ended in March. The company had posted a net loss of Rs 44 crore in the year-ago period.

    Clariant Chemicals (India):
    The dye and pigment maker reported a 47.67 per cent growth in profit to Rs 16.20 crore for the January-March quarter of 2021-22 compared to the same period of the previous financial year. The company's profit stood at Rs 10.97 crore during the corresponding quarter of 2020-21.

    Gensol Engineering: The consulting services said its net profit rose almost four-fold to Rs 8.77 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2022. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 2.28 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
